Gold Reef City Casino Slots Online
Smart coinless gaming with Tsogo Rewards points and up to 98% payback rates.Slot Machines and Gaming Floor Access
We maintain over 1,300 slot machines throughout the Gold Reef City gaming floor in Johannesburg, spanning approximately 12,000 square meters. Every slot on the property uses coinless, smart technology so you will not have to deal with cash - funds go straight to your Tsogo Rewards card, and winnings are credited back the same way. We’ve seen time and again how removing coins speeds up play and makes things simpler.
Our low denomination slots offer payback rates up to 98%. Recent large payouts include R669,778 awarded on 6 March 2026 and R1,360,008 paid out the following morning. These payout details are kept up to date on screens across our gaming zones all day - a point of pride for us.
The casino has split the floor into smoking and non-smoking sections, each with its own ventilation system. The non-smoking area comprises a significant share of the total space, and many lower denomination machines are located there. High stakes players usually prefer the smoking section, which also gives access to the Salon Privé for our premium guests.

Tsogo Rewards Programme
Slot machine play is linked to a Tsogo Rewards membership card. The card keeps track of all gaming - not only here but at our 13 casino properties around South Africa. You’ll get your physical card right after signing up at the rewards counter, next to the main entrance, just bring your ID.
A physical Tsogo Rewards card must be kept with you while playing.
Points accumulate based on your play volume and the denominations you use. We never list exact conversion rates - balances are displayed at the kiosks or check them with our staff.
Five membership tiers are available: Ten, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace for our most frequent players. Tiers reset on a rolling 12-month calculation. Better tier, more benefits - such as discounted parking rates, fast-track promos, early event access.
Salon Privé High Roller Area
Salon Privé is available to King and Ace tier members. The area features R50 to R100 denomination slots. There’s always personalized attention and a dedicated beverage service.
Table Games Integration
Alongside slots, we operate 51 table games, including American Roulette, Baccarat, Poker variations, and Blackjack. Table games operate on the same Tsogo Rewards card system. Points earned from both slots and table games contribute to your combined balance. Minimum bets go from R25 up to R500, changing with the game and time.
